Kade Glenn: 11 months

(Yes, I've been a bad mommy who has missed two of her kids monthly updates & is late on this one. Please forgive me!)

Happy 11 months Kade Glenn!

Mommy isn't sure where the past year has gone. It seems like just yesterday, Daddy and I were headed to the hospital for me to be induced to have you. I do not remember the first year with your sissy going by this fast! We have gone from a small little baby, to a walking, talking always on the go little boy. Each day we watch you become more of a little boy and less and less of a little baby. It breaks my heart to see you grow so fast as I'm trying to capture every memory, but it makes my heart smile to see you become such an independent little person with your own personality.

Kade's 11 Month Stats:

Weight: You have finally reached 20lbs!

Height: 29-30inches (guesstimate)

Sleeping Patterns:

Your sleeping patterns have changed quite a bit since I last updated. You now begin to get sleepy around 8pm but you fight your sleep until around 9pm or after. You have also been waking up with what I amount to as "night terrors" during the night. You haven't been doing this regularly, but you have been doing it every couple of weeks. Sometimes you cry/scream for just a couple of minutes, other times I have to turn on all of the lights, completely wake you up, and then put you back to sleep and finally back to your bed. You have been really good about taking at least one and occasionally two multi-hour naps each day.

Eating Patterns:

You are eating 32oz of formula daily. You are still on the Similac Sensitive for Spit Up. You are eating strictly all tablefood & no baby food. The only "baby food" so to say that you eat is the Gerber Graduate meals. You have also become quite the picky eater since you have learned to walk. You love to drink from a sippy cup, but refuse to drink milk from one. We are beginning to work on this since we will be weaning you bottle soon. You also still can only drink from a sippy with a straw. You simply do not have enough "sucking" power to drink from a regular sippy cup.

Clothing/Diaper Size:

You continue to wear your 6 month onesies with some 9 month onesies sitting loosly. You just moved up to size 9 month jeans, but only for the length. They still have to have the adjustable waist. Your overalls are moving to a size 12 month, but only for the length of the body. You are still wearing size 3 diapers comfortably along with size 3 and 4 shoes.

Milestones/ Odd's & End's:

- You are now a full blown walker. You began to walk to the day you turned 10 1/2 months old.

- you aren't so much of mommy little boy who loves to rock. You'd rather just sit in our lap like a big boy to go to sleep (even at night)

- you are beginning to become more interested in your movies. You will sit and watch one for a while.

-You are beginning to talk some.

- you continue to love your baths. Your favorite is taking a big boy shower with daddy.

- loud noises continue to scare you

- you love to constantly have something in your hands

- You now have two teeth on the bottom and two teeth on the top

- You love to watch "Sprout". Your favoriets are "Nina", "Star", and "Chikka"

- You are a little boy who loves to carry his blanie E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E!

- You are very much into tractors, trucks, and anything that you can roll around

- Your new nickname has become Kade "NO-NO" Buzbee
