July 2010 – Saying Goodbye…..

As you all know, July 2010 also brought saying Goodbye. I can't even think to type this for the tears rolling down my face, but I want to post it so that I have it for us. We had to say goodbye to our sweet, loveable, kissable, mischievous, little red headed blue eyed one year old baby doll. It was by far the hardest thing Justin & I have EVER had to do and now even 8 months later we cry for her daily. I don't see how any parent can take their child for granted because as we have learned you never know when they will be gone. We know our little Kynadi was a very very loved little girl and we found out just the number of friends and family we have to support us on this road. Kynadi's memorial service was absolutely beautiful. Rev. Mel and Rev. Ann did a wonderful job. I don't think the funeral home could have held another person during visitation or for the service. We couldn't have asked for any more. The sermon, the flowers, and the outpouring of love from everyone who came, called, emailed, or made contact with us in any way was very greatly appreciated. It's just when you're ready to give up and throw in the towels that God provides. Each passing day is still hard on Justin & I, and personally I don't' think it will ever get any easier. It's something no parent should ever have to do, but we learn to live with it and continue to live our lives around it.

So to our baby girl – Mommy & Daddy miss you beyond measure. Our lives will never be the same without you, but you will NEVER EVER be forgotten. We think about you and cry for you daily remembering all of the funny little things you did. You gave us the best year of our lives!

We love you, we love you Morning, Noon, & Night. We love you, we love you….YOU MAKE OUR WORLD SO BRIGHT!

July 2010 – Happy 1st Birthday Kynadi Jo’Ann!

July brought Kynadi's very 1st birthday! It was so hard for us to believe that she was one year old. The year went by so fast. Enjoy a few pics to look back on her birthday!

Two Year Catch-Up: Part Three

April 2010
April brought Miss Kynadi's 1st Easter! She loved hunting the eggs & spending the day at the Ft. Worth zoo with Mommy & Daddy after church.

April also brought Kynadi's 2nd NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway! She was much more into watching the cars this time than in November!

Two Year Catch-Up: Part 2

December 2009

December brought a big month for Kynadi. She celebrated her 1st Christmas, & I must say it was very easy to tell she is the youngest grandchild on one side & the only grandchild on the other! It also snowed on her 1st Christmas Eve!

January 2009

January was a quiet month for us. Kynadi did get her first try at riding in the back of a shopping cart while at walmart with MaMaw. She thought she was big stuff!

February 2009

February was another month that was very very busy for us! This month brought Kynadi's 1st measurable snow. We got 13 inches at our house in Ft. Worth! She loved it other than not liking it on her shoes! She also got her first "snow baby" built!

She also celebrated her 1st Valentines day being Mommy & Daddy's little love bug!

Towards the end of February, Kynadi made her 1st trip to Houston Motorsports Park to watch her daddy race his truck! She loved being at the races & of course Daddy loved having his #1 Fan there to support him!

March 2009

March was another busy month for Miss Kynadi! She started off the month attending her very first Easter Egg Hunt at MaMaw's work! She had a blast hunting the eggs, but even more fun trying to eat them!

March also brought her very 1st trip to Trader's Village & a new red wagon, which she loved! At the end of March we made a road trip to Hamlin to see Kynadi's friend Carson & his brand new baby sister Allie Beth!

Two Year Catch-Up: Part One

Sorry if the posts are long! I just want to "catch-up" on everything not only for our friends & family to see, but as a way for me to document moment for moment in my precious kiddo's & Justin & I's lives.

Here we go....Fast Forward from December 2008 (when we had just had our 1st ultrasound of our then unknown sexed baby) to April 2009.

------------------------------------

April 2009

We moved from Waco, where both of us had lived our entire lives in NON-residential areas, to Saginaw (northwest Ft. Worth) in the middle of a very residential neighborhood. We bought our very first brand new home all while working at the feed mill.

---------------------------------------

July 2009

After a long, hard & eventful labor & delivery, God blessed us with the most precious red headed, blue eyed, little 6lb 130z 19.5in long baby girl named Kynadi Jo'Ann. After the birth of Kynadi, our lives were forever changed. Our world changed from spending time with friends, shopping, & working on race cars to staying at home changing diapers & feeding bottles. However, we wouldn't have changed it for the world. From the very beginning, Kynadi was Mommy's baby girl. I went back to work at the feed mill when she was two weeks old & she went with me everyday.

--------------------------------------

August 2009
August brought a very special & exciting time for our family as we traveled to Talequah, OK for my great grandmothers 92nd birthday/Rice family reunion. This was a very bittersweet moment for Kynadi & I as she got to meet her GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER for the very 1st time. She was 5wks old.

------------------------------------

September 2009

September didn't hold anything much too exciting other than Kynadi turning 2 months old, and getting her 1st set of shots & getting her ears pierced...all in the same day. She did wonderful with her ears. She didn't cry until they put the 2nd earing in, and yes mommy bawled more than she did! During this month, Kynadi also became very interested in her little pink baby doll we named "Dolly." During the month of September, Justin & I felt called to become members of our new found church, Saginaw United Methodist Church. We began attending here before Kynadi was born, and truly felt at home each time we attended.

------------------------------------------

October 2009

October brought Kynadi's 1st Halloween & 1st trip to the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo. She & mommy both dressed up as pumpkins!

------------------------------------------

November 2009

November was a busy busy month for us. During November, Kynadi turned 4 months old & we began our venture into the wonderful world of baby foods. She didn't know what to think at first, but turned out she loved them for the most part. Kynadi also attended her very first NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway during this month. She did great and kept her little pink headphones on the entire time. She even slept through the entire race on Friday & Saturday. All of the people sitting around us just loved her! November also brought a sick time for us. Kynadi came down with a horrible respiratory infection & had to be put on breathing treatments 4 times a day. At this time, I thought that was the hardest thing I'd ever done in my life having to hold her down to administer them. However, they did their job & within a week she was perfectly well! We also celebrated our 1st Thanksgiving as a family of three!

November also brought a very special time for our family. On November 15, 2009, Kynadi was baptized at Saginaw United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mel Bishara & Dr. Jay Beavers.

Long time, No Blog?

Well, it's obviously been a very very long time since I updated this thing. I guess we just got too wrapped up in the wonderful life we were living with a new baby for me to blog. I started this thing as a way for family to keep up with what was going on in our lives before and during when Kynadi was born. However, that was a fail & I just resorted to my facebook to put her pictures. Well, now that Kade is here, I can still add my pictures to facebook but there isn't always room for what I want to say. So that is where I am going to use the blog to keep everyone updated. I'm going to try to play "catch-up" for the first couple of posts to bring everyone up to date while "Walking in our shoes!"
